This Flood Warning is for the high tide tomorrow morning on Tuesday 17th April.

The tide on Tuesday morning is set to occur at approximately 8:15 am local time in Newgale.

This tide will coincide with tidal surge and moderate to large offshore waves.

Winds are forecast to be force 7 from a south-south-west direction.

Water levels are forecast to run up to the top of the pebble bank; this gives a high risk that water could overtop the bank.

It is possible that debris, such as pebbles, could be moved onto the road disrupting traffic.

Water could also accumulate on the road, around properties and on low lying land in the area.

Although conditions are set to improve by the high tide on Tuesday evening, if there is significant change in the forecast, or any alteration to the pebble bank this message will be updated, and the flood warning will remain in force for both tides.
