Rain will continue throughout this afternoon before clearing during the early evening. The river is expected to continue to rise steadily, and may cause some flooding to low lying land and gardens near the river. We are not expecting any flooding to properties at this stage in any area, but we will monitor the situation and update this information if anything changes.

Caution Flood AlertWe are seeing high river levels on the River Crouch due to continuing rainfall. The peak of the river is now near Noaks Bridge. River levels are likely to continue to rise. The river will remain high for the rest of the evening, although the rain should start to clear away this afternoon leaving a mostly dry night. This information will be updated this evening
