Caution Flood AlertMore than 20mm of rain has fallen in the last 24 hours and levels in the Upper Eastern Yar are high and rising. The current frontal system has passed over the Isle of Wight but the response in the rivers to the rainfall will continue to be felt for about the next 10 hours. In that time levels are expected to rise to a point where they become impeded by the road bridge at Alverstone which will affect Station House. There is also a possibility that Moreton Common Road at Sandown will flood by tomorrow morning. Road tracks upstream at Horringford will flood affecting access to property. Another weaker front is due to pass over the area tomorrow Monday 24/11/and showers look set to continue to affect the area.
