This tide will coincide with tidal surge and moderate to large offshore waves. Winds are forecast to be force 7 from a south-south-west direction. Water levels are forecast to run up to the top of the slipway and therefore the flood gates on the slipway should be installed to minimise any impacts of flooding. Although the conditions only indicate a marginal breach of the flood warning thresholds, water may still overtop the sea wall near this location and could pool on the road near properties; residents in seafront properties should monitor the situation and take steps to protect themselves as necessary.
- Flood - Flood AlertThis Flood Warning is for the high tide tomorrow morning on Tuesday 17th April. The tide on Tuesday morning is set to occur at approximately 8:15 am local time in Newgale. This tide will coincide with tidal surge and moderate to large offshore waves. Winds are forecast to be force 7 from a south-south-west direction. Water levels are forecast to run up to the top of the pebble bank; this gives a high risk that water could overtop the bank. It is possible that debris, such as pebbles, could be moved onto the road disrupting traffic. Water could also accumulate on the road, around properties and on low lying land in the area. Although conditions are set to improve by the high tide on Tuesday evening, if there is significant change in the forecast, or any alteration to the pebble bank this message will be updated, and the flood warning will remain in force for both tides.

This tide will coincide with tidal surge and moderate to large offshore waves. Winds are forecast to be force 7 from a south-south-west direction. Water levels are forecast to cause water to overtop defences on the most exposed parts of the park. Although the conditions only indicate a marginal breach of the flood warning thresholds, chalets closest to these defences could be affected. Conditions near the exposed defences are likely to be dangerous. Conditions on Tuesday evening are expected to improve, though wave overtopping is still possible. Unless there is a significant change in the forecast, this flood warning will be removed on Tuesday afternoon and the flood alert will remain in force for Tuesday evening and possibly Wednesday morning.

London Underground (The Tube)
London's underground rail system, affectionately known as 'The Tube' is the oldest underground railway network in the world. Opened to the public in 1863, it celebrated its 150th birthday on the 10th January 2013.
With almost 1.2 billion passengers using The Tube in 2011, it's the third busiest in the world. The underground comprises of 270 stations, covering 250 miles of track, of which 45% is underground.
Regular commuters have a love-hate relationship with The Tube - with many citing the inevitable delays, overcrowding and summer heat on the Tube's trains.
