Details

The £8.8 billion second round of the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlements (CRSTS2) was announced at Spring Budget 2023 for 2027/28 to 2031/32. On 4 October 2023, the government announced an additional £8.55 billion of funding available for CRSTS2.  

As well as the existing 8 mayoral combined authorities (MCAs), the new East Midlands Mayoral Combined County Authority, once established, will be eligible for CRSTS funding. 

Indicative allocations have been published.
