The airline will be rolling out their new system at six airports, including Stansted, Manchester, London Southend and Edinburgh Airport. Passengers can use their mobile app to download a boarding pass onto their phone, and is available to both iPhone and Android owners. Windows Phone and Blackberry users will be able to use the app later this year. In addition to the UK airports, Easyjet will be trialling the system at Nice Airport in France and Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. The mobile app will allow travellers to check-in in less than 10 seconds. Multiple boarding passes will also be trialled on the same device so that a whole family can check in using just one mobile phone. The mobile check-in trial will help to streamline the checking in of passengers through airports. Easyjet phased out check-in desks from April 30th this year, and passengers are required to check in online.
