Coach travel
Coach and buses are the most cost-effective way of travelling around the UK. Run and operated by various private companies across thousands of routes and destinations throughout England, Scotland and Wales, coach travel tends to be a lot cheaper than travelling by train or by air, although journey times can be much longer, depending on where you wish to travel to.
By booking online in advance, many of the main coach operators offer significant deals and discounts, and with prices costing as little as £1 one-way, there are some serious savings to be made by travelling by coach.
